Growth Into Greatness Team

Christine Schuster-Battiato, M.S.

Practice Development Coach

Working in both the dental and medical communicates over the last 20 years, including working alongside Dr. Michael Schuster of The Center for Professional Development, Christine brings years of experience coaching dental professionals. She has enjoyed assisting dental and medical professionals in executing business strategies that increase their profitability individually and collectively.

Christine brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the GIG Team. She holds a dual masters degree (M.S.) in Wellness/Performance Psychology and Kinesiology from the University of Colorado as well as a B.S in Psychology/Health Education from The University of Arizona. Christine’s graduate and post graduate work experiences allowed her to apply her degree and experience to facilitate the personal and professional goals of health professionals, patients and teams in various private care environments.

While a graduate student, Christine was a Health Educator at the headquarters of the nation’s leading corporate rehabilitation Center in Englewood, Colorado. She provided private care services including patient nutrition education and counseling. She also developed courses to teach them to other centers. In addition, she was the Wellness Program Director at Denver’s largest health and wellness facility. Christine started to develop an Applied Wellness Model utilizing the data and experience in internships and applied studies while conducting research at the University of Colorado.

Her Internship in the University of Colorado’s Human Performance Laboratory is where she was trained to administer comprehensive medical/wellness screening and testing. While learning the applied techniques under the supervision of physicians and exercise physiologists, she conducted research on “The effects of Stress on the Denver Fire and Police squad”. This research led to many publications in the journals of Applied Kinesiology and Sport Psychology, where she presented further research findings at a national symposium for applied sport psychology. Her findings played a role in her determination to improve the lives of people and focus on prevention of disease rather than clinical practice.

Her work experience includes serving as Administrator and Consultant to a medical practice where she managed the office for a large interactive medical clinic, consulted primary physician and providers on patient care and development, provided consulting to staff, physician and patients. Christine also served as the director of a wellness program for a leading business school for dentists. She was charged with the responsibility of creating the model, implementing the program, and teaching the courses while administering the testing components to over 300 dentists and their Staff, and she created the curriculum for a two year practice development program. She further implemented a corporate wellness program for all of the staff at the school, and she published a dental wellness newsletter. As the success of this program grew, so did her growing family. After 8 years at the school, she relocated to Medford Oregon to help launch The Growth Into Greatness Institute, and raise her two children.
